In addition to Ekne IL, 55 other teams played in Girls 13. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Ekne IL could be found in Group K together with Vinne IL, Utleira IL and IL Fram.
Ekne IL continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group K. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Nardo FK with 0-3. In the Final, Remyra IL won over Rissa/Stadsbygd/Vanvik and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 13.
Ekne comes from Ekne which lies approximately 190 km from Östersund, where Storsjöcupen takes place. The area around Ekne does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Storsjöcupen 2024 (Among others: Malvik IL, Hegra IL, Lånke IL, Strindheim IL, Hommelvik IL, Leksvik, Ranheim IL, Il Trond, Strindheim and Stiklestad IL).
