Verdal IL continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Remyra IL / Fram / Tangmoen 2 with 4-5. In the Final, Remyra IL / Fram / Tangmoen 1 won over Heffnersklubbans BK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 15.
Verdal IL also participated in Flickor 14 during Storsjöcupen 2023. They reached the final in Slutspel A, but lost it against IFK Östersund with 6-7 and ended up in second place.
