In addition to Namsos IL, 34 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Namsos IL could be found in Group G together with Frei FK, Lillehammer Fotballklubb 1 and Kolvereid.

Namsos IL continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group G. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Meldal SK with 1-3. In the Final, Lillehammer Fotballklubb 1 won over Meldal SK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 16.

Namsos IL also participated in Pojkar 15 during Storsjöcupen 2023. They won Slutspel B, after beating Skaun BK in the final with 4-3.
