In addition to Matfors IF, 74 other teams from 3 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Matfors IF could be found in Group G together with Skaun Bk 2, Stjördals Blink 1 and Charlottenlund 1.
Matfors IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group G. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vinne IL with 0-1. In the Final, Charlottenlund 2 won over Vinne IL and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 13.
Matfors comes from Matfors which lies approximately 150 km from Östersund, where Storsjöcupen takes place. The area around Matfors does also provide four additional clubs participating during Storsjöcupen 2024 (Kubikenborgs IF, Lucksta IF, Heffnersklubbans BK and Kungsnäs FC).
