In addition to Fröya IL, 18 other teams played in Girls 11 . They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Fröya IL could be found in Group C together with Sparbu IL 1, Verdal IL and Ås IF.
Fröya IL continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Neset FK with 2-6. In the Final, Neset FK won over Frösö IF 2 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 11 .
Fröya comes from Sistranda which lies approximately 300 km from Östersund, where Storsjöcupen takes place. Other than Fröya IL, the club Hitra FK does also originate from the area around Sistranda.
