In addition to Hitra FK, 34 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Hitra FK could be found in Group C together with IFK Östersund, KIL/Hemne, Hållingen and Brönnöysund IL 2.

Hitra FK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ope IF with 1-4. In the Final, Lillehammer Fotballklubb 1 won over Meldal SK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 16.
