In addition to Gauldal FK, 70 other teams from 6 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Gauldal FK could be found in Group D together with Overhalla IL 1, IFK Aspudden Tellus Gul 2, IL Vega and Tiller IL 1.
Gauldal FK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Steinkjer FK 1 with 7-8. In the Final, Öztersund Ungdom IF won over CEF 18 Tucuman 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14.
Gauldal FK comes from Ler which lies approximately 220 km from Östersund, where Storsjöcupen takes place. The area around Ler does also provide 32 additional clubs participating during Storsjöcupen 2024 (Among others: Malvik IL, Strindheim IL, Hommelvik IL, Meldal SK, Ranheim IL, Il Trond, Orkdal IL, Orkanger IF, Strindheim and Flatås IL).
